Blood Out of a Turnip
There's an old expression that "You can't squeeze blood out of a turnip." It's usually used when someone asks you to give them something you don't have. For example, if a relative asked me to loan them a million dollars, I might tell them they can't squeeze blood out of a turnip. I simply don't have a million dollars (or anything close to it!), so it's futile to ask me for it.
In the same way, the amount of time I've had to devote to maintaining the CMUG web-site has steadily dwindled in recent years. Trying to find time to write relevant articles and format them as web-pages and keep everything linked and up to date has been like trying to squeeze blood out of a turnip.
I'm therefore turning to blogging as a less time-intensive way of keeping Christian Mac users informed about the latest happenings. I'll probably still be a bit of a turnip when it comes to time devoted to blogging, but hopefully, this approach will result in at least a trickle of "blood" flowing through CMUG's web-presence. Stay tuned for more.
